Amazing staff..
Unclean property upon move in. Terrible communication and response towards maintaining the property (severe mold, damp, water coming through the floor). Moved out after 6 months after failure to respond to issues that meant it was unsafe for our round child. They retained part of the deposit and did not follow the deposit protection scheme guidance for returning. We did not receive an invoice for cleaning or proof of needing to retain deposit. From Jeffrey Vagg: Following the sudden death of my brother 4 years ago who owned the flat, I have found Sam Bather and her colleagues extremely professional, helpful and friendly, firstly as dealing with agents in all matters relating to the tenant and the property, and now in their assistance in selling the flat.
Me and my partner have been tenants with spaces and places for 3 years before buying our own property and I must say they have been excellent throughout, with helping with standard queries, getting issues sorted quickly and efficiently, and they are always friendly and genuinely interested in us at a personal level making sure we are ok and if we needed anything. We are both very happy with the service we had with them and we would highly recommend anybody to use them. I would give them 10/10 if I could.
Spaces and places are liars to tenants. I rented a flat out from them, only weeks in, and a neighbour decided to make my life hell. Police were called numerous times, Letting agent was fully aware that they even said that those neighbours are very problematic and always have been in trouble. Are you not supposed to let a potential tenant know this if you're fully aware? I'm so glad I'm no longer in that property, but I don't know how as a letting agent that you can lie about the neighbours telling people they are all good. I... read more
