Been with this agency for the past 3 years in different properties, and overall had a positive experience. All the properties we stayed in were in good quality, with relatively fair prices, issues and queries were dealt with, and moving in and out of the properties was smooth and mostly without problems.
I've been a lead tenant with Space in 3 different houses over the last 3 years. As such, I have communicated a lot with them over the years, and their replies were fast and attentive, with any problems being sorted within a reasonable time frame. Any emergencies were dealt with quickly and professionally, and the staff have always been friendly. Finally, deposits were returned amicably after some discussions, and the few charges we incurred were fair.
If I could give them zero stars I genuinely would. Such a scamming agency, trying to take ridiculous amounts of money off deposits at the end of tenancy. They’re claiming furniture is missing from the property when it is not (proved in pictures I sent) and also are charging obscene amounts for a clean fee which in their words was just “wiping down and dusting”. Extremely disappointing experience. Avoid if you value your deposit. We looked after our house carefully throughout the tenancy, keeping it clean and well-maintained. Before moving out, we had a check-out appointment where we were told most things looked good, including a specific comment about the clean condition of the oven after we had deep cleaned it. Who would have thought it. Move into a house look after it for two years. Paying a large amount a month but we're still good to the place nontheless. When it came to moving out we decided to make sure the house was spotless. We left the house perfect for moving into. Hoovered. wiped. polished. binned. swept. Deep cleaned. polished bannisters, walls, skirting board, doorframes (as we were told to). Yet no!
