Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Architectural details are truly one of a kind. A wonderful place for meetings and great place to escape to. Would recommend hotel to anyone.
Hit up the Burger Bar today for lunch on my way to Wells Fargo. I was in line for about 10 minutes with two people in front of me, and when I got to the front was told to expect a 15 minute wait (1:02PM). I walked to the bank, and returned to find that my order wasn't ready. At 1:27PM twenty five minutes later they called another persons name, with the same burger and I finally walked up and asked that they give me their burger since he wasn't around and it had been so long. The staff at the JW Marriott Austin must have been trained at the Ritz! Five star experience at every turn. Thank you for a memorable week.
Had my 21st birthday party here with five of my closest girlfriends. We ate sushi in the lobby bar as well as yummy prickly pear cocktails. We stayed in the biggest room possible, they have no suites available. Since it was two queen beds and 6 women I called the receptionist and asked for a rollaway bed and she said they do not allow for those because of a possible fire hazard. We managed to make it work we didn't sleep long anyways. In the morning we had starbucks downstairs and layed by the pool on the roof all afternoon ... read more
Had such a fabulous experience at this hotel. From arrival to departure--everything was truly seamless. Their level of service & attention to details is amazing. Cannot wait to go back again soon!!!!!!
This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Everyone we have come in contact with has been so helpful and really nice. I have never stayed in a better hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are beautiful. There isn't one thing I could say negative about it. Thanks to all for making our stay so memorable.
