We had a bad experience with the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and wrote the experience off as a lesson learned. However, a representative monitoring the Marriott Marquis page contacted my wife after she made comments about our stay. This review focuses on customer care resolution. The general manager, Chandra Walker, began addressing the situation making every effort to rectify the situation. Every staff member that I encountered was rude, on-site parking was full, and our room was very underwhelming. The quality of stay has dropped tremendously since my last visit.
So far you have given us rooms with a wet (carpeted) floor and one directly below the early morning breakfast lounge. We've been here less than 10 hours. We came here to rest, not wait until 1 am for a room only to be awoken at 6:30 am by moving chairs. Ugh.
The lobby was very impressive but the rooms not so much. When you pay 400 per night you would think your room would be something better than the local Super 8 Motel. Oh wait at least Super 8's have refrigerators in there rooms and have free Wi-Fi. As you can tell not impressed with this hotel. There are tons of hidden fees and charges. CRAZY.......
