I want to take a moment to thank all the amazing staff at Southport Hospital. After an accident on Southport beach that left me with a dislocated knee, I was brought here and have now been in their care for four days. From the emergency services who got me safely to hospital, to the doctors, nurses, and support staff who have looked after me since, the kindness, professionalism, and dedication I’ve experienced has been incredible. When trying to contact one of your departments by phone it is almost impossible, I am trying to contact the Audiology department for someone who has the onset of dementia ie. Loss of memory, all I manage to get is a constant ring tone when I do get through they transfer me to that department, know one answers all I get is a ring tone then I’m cut off, this has been going on since the memory clinic advised the gentleman to go, due to the fact he could hear some of the tests clearly, I’ve been calling you since Friday morning ... read more

Just attended Outpatient deparment. We saw Dr Shadiki. Outstanding manners. He put my elderly mother ease and thoroughly explained everything. This department time and time again always impresses me. Many thanks to all the staff in this Department.

I don't recommend this hospital. There's complete incompetence and discrimination against patients. I wait from 9:15 PM to 3 AM to be examined by a doctor after a miscarriage. I wasn't examined at all. They shift the patient order from the first to the 11th at 3 AM. People what coming from outside been seen by doctors straight away i been waiting and waiting. So leave with pain and bleeding. Don't go there isn't fair place they totally discrimination patients.
