I called earlier to tell them my Great Dane was snake bit. I arrived here at 5:08 and called instead of going in (covid). I was put on hold for approximately 6 minutes. When she came back to the phone she immediately wanted my debit card or initial payment— which I gladly gave. It is 5:29 and the lady came to get our dog. I’m so glad this wasn’t an “emergency”. The little girl was just as nice as she could be. But really.. let’s get it a little more together
RecommendedOur golden retriever gave birth in the middle of the night on a Friday when our regular vet was not open. When we had questions, they were patient and answered. When we had to make the tough decision to put down tiny girl, they were so kind and understanding. We received a condolence card in the mail and it touched me to know that they cared.
Ridiculously priced. Taking advantage of people when they are emotional and desperate. Quoted us $4K for services that ended up costing us less than 1/10th of that.
I have had two experiences with them, both bad. Last weekend I carried our dog that had been bitten by a snake to them. They give me some medicine and told me there was no sign of venom, sold me some medicine and sent us home. The dog was almost dead by Monday AM when we got him to another Vet. The Vet said he was full of venom, and after being critically ill is thankfully going to recover with no thanks to SRVS. Very disappointing and very expensive.
On Sunday, February 16th, 2020 this little,13 lb. girl (pictured in comments below) was found with her entire back end submerged in a water filled ditch in 50° cold, rainy weather. She was shaking with pain & fear. The grass near the ditch showed signs of where she had dragged herself off the road after being hit by a vehicle. She couldn't move her back legs at all. They mis- diagnosed my dog and he died four hours after leaving their clinic! We are heartbroken by our loss.
I just want to give a big thank to everyone that helped me and my family out tonight... y’all was there for us when everywhere else was closed. I know Casper was in good hands and y’all did everything y’all could to save him, and I thank y’all for that!!!!
I can not say enough about how wonderful Dr. Martin and the entire staff are. Mimi was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last May. Dr. Martin did limb-spar surgery followed by chemo for a few months. Check-up yesterday and she remains cancer free. During this whole time, everyone has been so wonderful to us and to Mimi. Thank you all, we are so grateful to have you in Dothan.
We took our Bella for patella surgery and they were so nice and treated our girl with loving kindness Dr. Robert A. Martin is a wonderful Dr. kind and loving to animals and is very knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to go back if necessary for something else. Thank you SRVS.
