Am registered with this surgery and today I tried to make an appointment with a GP who has a special interest in women's health. The receptionist said they have no GP with an interest in women's health. The receptionist suggested I just book ANY female GP (I had not asked to see a female doctor, I had asked to see a doctor with an interest in Women's health. I want to clarify that this is about Southbourne surgery and not Beaufort. I switched to this GP surgery after being with my last one for 23 years out of my 24. In my first appointment I got more done than my last GP ever did but since then it’s gone downhill fast. I will say this, Dr Courts is the best GP I’ve ever had, he listens, no matter how late he is, he listens. The reception staff however are rude and inconsiderate. And the wait times are insane. They may make the odd mistake but it will always be quickly solved Dr Jon Courts is absolutely incredible too. Whether he's late or behind schedule he always takes the time to listen to what your problem is and try to find a resolution. If he's not sure on something he will admit he doesn't know. I can't recommend him enough. If you have questions he will listen and try his best to answer. This surgery is far better than Marine surgery
