The wait in the ER was insane.. I never had a issue there . But when junkies and people with colds are getting better treatment then you it's not right.. Then you have nurses selling girl scout cookies and playing around and have loud music playing.. I went in for excruciating pain in the base of my skull.. I waited 4 hours to be seen then seen a doctor for maybe 2 mins he wanted two injections in my skull without test or x-rays nothing ... I gave birth at South Lake Hospital last month and had a wonderful experience. The nursing staff was absolutely fantastic. I loved my labor and delivery nurses and appreciated their respect towards my natural birth plan immensely. I did not feel pressured at all, unlike with some of my prior labors in other hospitals. My baby stayed with me 99% of the time and the nurses who cared for us post-labor were great about working around my and baby's feeding and bonding schedule and not their own. My wait time was not bad at all to be seen (for it being during the night). I was put into a room where I was helped by an RN named Tony who made my 5 hours in the ER room as comfortable as possible and always kept me up to date on what was going on. He made the experience better than expected. You can really tell he truly loves what he does and that has a huge impact on patients who are not feeling well/nervous.
Everyone was amazing!! My nurses were awesome!! Rachel, Rose, Bindhu they all took great care of me!!
Just had foot surgery...very impressed with the quality of Staff and professionalism. Nice hospital, too.
During our unscheduled stay for my daughter's second emergency surgery in the last 5 weeks, expectations were met with care, kindness, understanding and we are highly impressed with the CDU staff. I think that when you you go to the ER and have to set there for hours then being told that you have been discharge before you have seen the doctor is unexpected and your family member is in so much pain this happen to my husband went through this.
Treated both my boys fast even though they were busy... And both were very sick �
Nurses were very rude, front desk of the emergency not nice taking about patience as they walk away, would not go back.
