I know when I'm eating great barbeque and I know when I'm eating mediocre barbeque. South Fork BBQ is definitely the former variety. What's more, the BBQ is consistently good. I've tasted it on three separate occasions and the flavor and texture was amazing every time.
Wife and I tried it this evening and were well pleased. Great food and the owner was a wealth of information on his food and how he does it, very interesting. We will definitely go back and also spread the word about this cool new place.

WOW, Who would have guessed authentic Texas style Brisket could be found in Harrisonburg, VA. Well, this place has it. Spent 6 months in Amarillo, TX looking for good Texas Brisket. Could not find it. Drove 1500 miles to Virginia for the real deal. And the BBQ sauce is just right, sweat with a kick. Now if owner would put out some sliced onions and jalapenos, I would feel right at home. Y'all come on by, you won't be disappointed.
Finally tried this after the recommendation of a friend, and it was fantastic! Great unpretentious barbeque, and the sauces were spot on. Loved it, and can't wait to go back again!
