The owner let me sample both the pork bar b q and the brisket. Both have a wonderful, smokey taste. Very authentic truly smoked bar b q. Bought a half pound of each and I can't wait to try the ribs next time in town.
Wow! Words can't even begin to express how scrumptious the food is at South Fork BBQ! The atmosphere is lovely and the owner is so personable and charming. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to South Fork BBQ as soon as possible! :)

The brisket and ribs were amazing!!! We also got the mac and queso and collard greens which are equally amazing! We are definitely coming back to get stuff to take back home with us to MD!!
Very surprised I tried the Pork pulled brisket and ribs . Loved the extra sauce I got with them not a huge fan of the brisket sauce but the Carolina was right on the mark. The whole family tried it and we all are now big fans. our favorite was the pulled pork and brisket. I loved the pork on Nachos ! I will be returning soon
I have always enjoyed the proprietors take on Brisket and Pulled Pork - making special trips to Harrisonburg to sample his foods. He loves his craft and the food shows it!
Best ribs and brisket I've ever had, you wont be disappointed.
