We had a less than stellar experience. Did a site survey provided a quote for a fence, they started the job with only one young guy. He gave up and walked off after putting in one panel. Charle got involved and refused to complete our fence unless we were prepared to accept an increased quote of more than twice the original. We declined and found another contractor who installed a better quality (concrete posts properly installed) for 30% less than SC's revised quote. (1) Note that x2 recent reviews of this company (see below) say: "Threatening and very aggressive" and "Arrogant and aggressive to the point of being dangerous". I was also shouted at by the director (Charlie Appell). I agree with the other reviews. (2) The most recent review (below) says they came and did a survey but then did not provide the quote. That is also exactly what happened to me. (3) They also cancelled x3 appointments. (4) The Google Rating of 4.3 is a very poor rating. I wonder if they wonder why. Maybe they do... read more

We asked them to quote for a new electric gate, they came round to do a survey. That was over three weeks ago I’ve chased for the quote via email and phone had no reply. Will be using someone else.

My fence is ok, but avoid if you want decking done. Mine is only 5 years old and looks like this under the boards - wet and rotten due to being sat directly on soil. I invited them to quote to repair it and was told sorry too busy, find another decking company. So much for customer service.
