5 STARS!!!!! We were recently in Gulf Shores on vacation when our 4 month old baby started coughing uncontrollably and started having trouble breathing. My wife googled the nearest urgent care and to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center we went! We arrived and they told us it would be a three hour wait until they heard our baby start coughing. they squirt my blood out of my arm and got it all over my arm and bed. my arm is still bruised from last week. they opened the needles and stuff and sat them on the bed before putting them in my arm. I left in worse pains than I went in for! oh!!! and I told them I was pregnant and they have me medicine you weren't supposed to take while pregnant so thank God I didn't go get it filled and that I looked i up first 😂 this hospital is crap. here's a pic of my arm after she cleaned it.

very bad hospital I would not bring my die dog there and they also was told about that man like that by 3 different people and they finnly got him after about 20 or 30 min
South Baldwin is by far the worst hospital ever. We’ve always heard horror stores about this hospital and no here we are by no choice of our own. Our 4yr boy split his chin wide open and needed stitches badly!! They’ve been in there for 5hrs and still nothing nurse has been in there 2 times to put numbing gel on it and said they were getting ready to close it up. EVERYONE was friendly and fast to help our son who broke his arm. It was a Sunday and the on-call dr (Detterman) saw our need and came in quickly for surgery. The staff continued to check on us and give us updates. It was a great experience.
very professional. everyone treat you like you are the only patient 👍
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Seriously this is crazy!!! This hospital has been a joke since the day they opened... And continue to be.
