I've said it a million times over the past couple of weeks and I'll say it again. South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has some of the best people in the world on staff. Such a GREAT hospital and an amazing medical staff! We were on vacation in Gulf Shores from Louisiana and my grandmother collapsed. She was in critical condition for a while and was hospitalized there for about two weeks but, with the care of the doctors and the numerous prayers that were sent her way, she is home today! Best care I've ever had from the Er cardiology team doctors nurses and the floor staff. I arrived at the ER on 10/20/15 for chest pain and went into cardiac arrest a few minutes after arriving. With my father passing away this morning I can not thank Anna, Carol and Judy enough for helping my dad who was in hospice care. The people we interacted with are angels, people can't be trained for that level of compassion, it is a God given gift. I am so impressed with the changes Foley has made to this hospital. Thank you my angels for making this difficult time so much more bearable.
In early June I was admitted to the hospital, PA Liz was in ER (thanks a bundle Liz) and she was wondeful. On friday morning I was given a heart cath by Dr Trotter and crew, and was gently taken care of. NOW, There is a young nurse by the name of Jessica Davis who is simply awesome. Thanks Jess. I also was admitted the last weekend in July and again Jessica was my nurse. I wanted to point out Jessica but the entire hospital staff was EXCELLENT. Please pass on my dearest THANKS to the entire nursing staff.
Best care I've ever had from the Er staff the doctors nurses and the floor staff. I was admitted for emergency appendectomy on Monday evening had surgery that night. Was my first major surgery they were so caring and when I got to my room the staff on my floor were so wonderful. Never had to punch a button twice they were there immediately and very caring. I would recommend this hospital I had no problems just wonderful people and service.
My wife waited in emergency room for 5hrs to not be seen. Finally at 11:00 pm she left. They better not try and claim on our insurance. This place SUCKS. Unless you are unemployed or don't have insurance don't go here.
We had to take my friend's daughter to the ER and they took FOREVER. The ER at SBRMC always takes forever. I understand that they sometimes have alot of patients to deal with. But at least have some kind of urgency. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever. Really pisses me off.
I've been here 3 hours with my 9 moth old son and still haven't seen even a nurse yet! Just terrible!
