I can't fully describe how amazing I was treated at this hospital for the first time in YEARS!! Dr. Crawford in the E.R. is compassionate, intelligent, and thorough. The hospital was clean, ALL the staff members were excellent, and the nurses were incredible. I was properly diagnosed, treated, and genuinely cared for. Thank you sooo much South Baldwin Regional Medical Center from the bottom of my heart! I have a true change of heart towards this hospital now. I'm totally amazed by the respect I received. God bless you Dr. Cr... read more

First impressions are everything and from the moment the Volunteer in the golf cart picked me up at my car, until nurse Kim Wagner discharged me everything was first class!! My pre op nurse Lori Bently was very comforting, since this was kind of an emergency surgery and Shannon in the OR was so sweet and kept me company in recovery. Dr. Mike Eslava was so accommodating by getting me in fast and doing surgery that afternoon. Would highly recommend this hospital for any and all your medical needs. Patient care was definitely fi... read more

Being from out of town/state, I will be the first to admit I was nervous about visiting an ER. i must say, this ER was amazing. They were kind, caring, and professional. Everyone, from the receptionist checking us in, the triage nurse, the CT and x-ray techs, the nurses, and the doctors went above and beyond to give us the best care with such a caring attitude. I'm in the medical field myself, and I do not give these praises lightly. Huge thank you to all the staff!!

It took Dr. Daniel Barber Sherling 5 hrs to discharged me. My nursing staff were great! That's the fourth surgery at this fine hospital since April of 2015. Of course anyone involved with my discharge will point the finger at the other person.

I can't say I loved being in the hospital. I had a heart attack last Monday night. The ER nurses and ICU nurses were beyond amazing. I'm grateful to each of them.

My son went to Gulf Shores urgent care. Dr Russell refused to address his problems in elbow, heel and big toe. Only said you're in bad shape aren't you. When he withdrew fluids from knee request was made to check it for Uric acid crystals. Dr looked at syringe and said "doesn't look like gout to me" and squirted it in the sink! Not only rude but dangerous! That is biomedical waste! He should not be practicing medicine!

Fuckin bs ass hospital. When they are packed all they are worried about is getting people in & out. My pain is worse when I left than when i arrived & I know they could see it. I was almost in tears, but still they come in give me one weak pain pill & sent me on my way almost in tears. I will NEVER be back to this hospital.

After they successfully treated my infected foot, I went back to their ER for treatment of same type of infection, and doctor(I use that term ) put me in drug induced coma and had " trake" put in me. I came out, having to relearn to walk(in walker now, just out of wheelchair, and I can tell I suffer brain damage. They saw Medicare and went nuts back there(ER).I tried to post with no stars but will not let me.
