Talented SOK Stylist – I also was having trouble finding a salon here in Houston and when I found SOK, I knew they were perfect...my hopes were confirmed when I recently got an awesome cut and color job by Andrew. He is extremely knowledgeable and wasnt afraid to tell me what he thought would look good and what wouldnt be a good idea...going back for highlights next week!
Ask for Andrew!! – Andrew is a must see!! I was referred to Andrew though some girlfriends of mine and I decided to have him do my highlights and haircut. I couldn't be happier! My color is amazing, I've never been this happy with my blonde! My haircut is easy to style and looks great even when I don't do much with it. I can't wait to go back!
Exquisite Hairstylist – I am writing about May Post, the best hair stylist I've ever had. She is not only knowledgeable about all areas of beauty, but she is an amazing person! Thanks Roy! – I have driven all over Houston trying to find the perfect salon and hairstylist and I found them both at SOK. Roy gave me an AMAZING haircut! He really listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted. He also took the time to show me how i should blow-dry and style my hair at home. The Best Comes to Houston – May is one of the best hair professionals I have come across in many,many years. It is difficult to find someone who is skilled with multi-texture hair (like my own). May was impressive in her approach to working with my hair. The styles were always congruent with my hair texture and the color was always fabulous. Come Back Amanda May! – May has been my stylist for quite a while, and I was selfishly disappointed when she told me she was leaving for Texas. I do corporate videos and TV commercials, and May always made me look great before a shoot. She does a great men's cut and style, and I want her back. But if she has to stay in Texas, she might as well get as many customers who love her as much as we did "back home" so they can miss her as much as we do when she decides to come back.
Go See May! – I am very jealous us Clevelanders lost May. She is amazing at her craft, and all around a great person. I have no idea who will do my hair now. Ask for May! – May is by far the best person to ever do my hair. Not only is she super friendly and sweet, but she does an amazing job. I always felt very welcome in her chair and like I was chatting with an old friend, not going in for a hair appointment. Roy knows hair and the art of conversation – I desperately needed a haircut and decided to try SOK because it was close to the med center. After reading all the raves about Roy I also decided to ask him to be my hair stylist. He was able to accommodate me on a very short notice for which I was grateful. The thing I really enjoyed about our experience was that he is an excellent conversationalist. No vapid prattle here.
