SoK's Andrew was great! – I recently got my haircut from Andrew. My first impression of him was great. He was very professional and knowledgeable about both Keratase and B&B products. I wanted to keep the length of my hair and he managed to do that while adding some of his own suggestions. Overall, it was a good experience and I look forward to seeing Andrew again at their new location on top of Corner Bakery.
I wont go there next time!!!! time visited Feb 09 – Well in short the place is a ripOFFFFF. When I pay over 50 buck for men hair cut I expect atleast average hair cut. First of all, the person I made appointment to cut my hair wasent there. They gave me an amature hair stylist who has no creativity. He had to consult with me for atleast 45min to find out what I want and what he can do. People, haristylist shud be creative not act like a robot. Roy brought my hair to life. – After looking online for a new salon, I saw some reviews on here about Roy and gave him a try. My hair looks and feels amazing. The highlights were awesome and the cut was exactly what I was looking for. He is so nice, and actually listens to what I was saying. He was constantly making sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Great cut and color – I read the reviews and booked an appt with Casey for cut and color. I had brunette hair and wanted to make the transition back to blonde. I had a bad experience once before trying to do this so I was really nervous. Casey was great. I showed him pictures of what I wanted and he told me what would or would not work with my current color. He does his own color and cuts which is a plus. Lovely Salon Experience – I went to Salon on Kirby to see May after reading the reviews on citysearch. She is a wonderful stylist! I had a lot of fun sitting and talking to her as well as receiving a great haircut and color. May made wonderful suggestions about my layers, which have not been sitting right since my last haircut. I bought a product (which was pretty expensive, but made my hair feel nice) and she explained to me how to use it properly and what I want to purchase in the future. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT CUT, GREAT PRODUCTS! – SOK gave me a great first impression ... from the front-desk personnel who helped me book my appointment all the way to my stylist, Andrew, who delivered a first-rate cut that would work with my hectic schedule (translation: no time in the morning for round-brushing and styling!). I loved my hair by May – I went to see May last nite and I love my hair. She made it look totally different and gave me a really good cut as well. THe products they use make your hair feel really nice, as I bought some and will buy more next time. She just moved here, so her prices are pretty good, but I would go to see her now because I think she will be getting really busy from everyone I am going to send to her. Favorite Stylist: May – May was my stylist for a year in Cleveland before she moved to Houston. She always knew all the latest trends for cut and color--she even gave me fashion advice! I always counted on her for suggestions, which I always followed since she is so coolest! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair--it makes me so sad that I will have to find a new stylist now since she is now in Houston.
