I was admitted to have an emergency c section on April 2nd with my little boy Wyatt. Being my first child and being high risk, I was so scared and faced 6 days in the hospital due to all kinds of health issues. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE STAFF! I have used the ED several times and have always been treated well. I had Cataract Surgery done two years ago and just came home yesterday, 8 April 2018, after spending 10 days in the hospital for Hernia Surgery. The staff treated me very well before and after the surgery.
Absolutely horrible experience when my grandson was born. If you are a first time mother, choose a different hospital so that it doesn't negatively effect this beautiful experience. There are a few amazing nurses. Leoni and Amy are priceless but unfortunately there are too many that just don't want to be bothered to help a new mom with her baby.

The staff are nice but the wait time is horrible. 3 hours still waiting in the ER to be seen.
This place was a God send for me. I battle depression and anxiety. At this point in my life, I'm dealing with the loss of a good friend to suicide, a lot of stress at work, the loss of a relationship, and seasonal depression. It became too much. I wasn't eating or sleeping so I voluntarily admitted myself to KBMC. The counselors, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, social workers, nurses, and food service employees were absolutely amazing. Rude nurses very slow to resond, took them over 30 minutes for assistance to the bathroom. Put on AE pumps but didn’t turn pump on. On telemetry, a lead came loose in post op they shut alarm at desk and left it alarming in pt room never fixed it, so what’s the point of having your heart monitored. They are snobby and lazy and need to recognize part of the patient experience is based on customer service skills. Will NEVER go to this place EVER. again.
