I went in for Hernia Surgery I was pretty scared but the Nurses and Doctors sat and explained to me everything that was going to happened after I woke up to very little to no pain .... Nurse Susie and Nurse Pritty were Awesome these two Nurses went beyond wonderful, Thank you to my great Doctor Christopher Schneider who did a amazing surgery and fix my Hernia : )
Think twice before coming here especially if you're in pain or have an addiction problem. Staff is uneducated and non-compassionate when dealing with family crises. Social worker offered little assistance and isn't available on the weekends. Apparently there is a crisis social worker on the weekends but never met them even though requested through nurse. Nurses are suppose to make rounds every hour, we would go 2-3 hrs and would have to call to see one. Nurse would come in say she'd be back in a minute and be gone another 45... read more
We had to take my 4 year old kiddo there for a concussion. The staff was so kind to my little one. They even took the time to explain to her step-by-step what was going to happen for each thing they were going to do to her . By the time we were released my kiddo asked if she could go back because everyone was so nice to her .😊 Very thankful for the kind staff and the doctor who took care of her while we were there.
I got misdiagnosed, they had me in the system as someone else, crying out in pain for 6 hours until they figured it out. Then keep me so doped up on daloted (not sure of spelling) which was crazy I don't remember 3 days of my hospital stay. They told me I had gastoperisis which was false! Went to Miami valley and they figured it out within 12 hours!!! Will never go back!
I go to Soin MC when I need emergent attention. The staff there are kind and prompt in caring for my needs.
Kettering hospital would be better or even the valley this place gets you in and out with very little done skipping steps and missing things
and I'm still here 3 days later but they always treat me good when I'm here
Very disappointed in Soin. My mother was released the day after having a mini stroke. Her white blood cells are still high and she still doesn't feel very well. Also the 3rd floor of the hospital smells like urine. Reminds me of a nursing home. Sad that such a beautiful hospital is not taken care of.
