Authentically good BBQ & southern food with a flair. If it's legal, we'll smoQ it! In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

The service was terrible, I had to send my ribs back because they were burnt, not to mention I paid $30 for only sides & a drink. I believe in tipping according to how my service is & most of the time I tip well. I was forced to tip because I was with a party I hate that gratuity rule because my waitress didn't deserve a tip from none of the people in my party because she was rude. I will not be wasting gas coming from Dayton to there never again.
My first time there and I loved it. Definitely will return. Pulled pork was great.
I was very satisfied with the service...they weren't busy when I went. I had rub tips and potato skins and they were delicious!! I brought my daughter and grandkids here and they really like their meals. I would recommend it strongly.

I was there last night with some of my family for my mom's and bf birthday dinner,and we was there for the first time we all loved the food! That cornbread is finger licking good also that buffalo chicken dip and chips had me licking all my fingers lol!! I will definitely be back P.S. if you go on a saturday you might want to go super early if not you could be waiting for hours but it's worth the wait
The food was amazing. The service was horrible. They weren't busy and we got a seat right away. 15 minutes later someone came and took our drink and food order. 30 minutes later our food came out. We asked for extra creme sauce that we didn't get until the end of our meal. Then it took 20 minutes for the waitress to cash us out so we could leave. I could understand if they were busy but there might've been 20 other guests besides us.
Wonderful southern comfort food, with great Memphis and St Louis style ribs! Yummm... Great catering too!
5 star service, our waitress was phenomenal though they were busy. We had a little of all the meats and were well pleased! Brisket is a definite high five, yummy sausage, ribs moist and meaty, so much meat we took the chicken and pulled pork home, Sides were better than most places . My only disappointment was the meatloaf which I carried out for family who couldn't join us. Three of us didn't like it enough to eat, and that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars Definitely encourage you to try for yourself!
My husband had lunch at Smoq today. I had the baby back ribs and my husband had the fried chicken. The food was absolutely delicious. We actually ordered a bigger portion than usual so we could take home leftovers for dinner. The Mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole were great. My husband had the greens with ham and said they we we better than his mom's. We will definitely be back.
