Authentically good BBQ & southern food with a flair. If it's legal, we'll smoQ it! In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

The food was delicious, and the service was great! The rib tips are to die for, they were sooo good! And the hot wings with the sauce then grilled were the best I've ever had!! , I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cincinnati.
We went to Smoq for my birthday/Anniversary dinner which we do every year as always the food and service were excellent. They even brought a little cupcake out as were leaving as a surprise. It was delicious of course. Everything always is. We have never gotten anything there that wasn't.We recommend Smoq to all our friends!!
It was good had the smoke salmon collard greens with ham green beans and my friend had rib tips it was enjoyable experience. Atmosphere and service was great. I would definitely recommend it.
The beef brisket was super fatty the server said new owners changed vendors and agreed with me on the poor quality
The food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful. When we come back to Cincinnati this will be my first choice.Loved the food. I had a slab of ribs and collard greens and string beans. Awesome!
We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday on Friday, July 21, 2017. We had a group of 15 people. There was also another group of 20 people. We had 1 server handling both parties. The air conditioner was not working, so it was extremely hot & uncomfortable. The server said the blender wasn't working so we couldn't get the drinks we wanted, it was the worst experience that I ever had there & ive been to Smoq plenty of times!!! When we finally got our meal, a couple of the orders were not correct. Just very disappointing!!!!!
I used to frequent this restaurant when Pete was the owner. I went in Friday and waited 25 minutes for anyone to actually take my order. After another 30 minutes of not having my food I got up and left. I guess the new ownership has changed the level of service. Sad to see such a great restaurant deteriorate to this level.
I told the waiter that they should sell the deep fried smoked ribs by the bucket! My smoked fried chicken dinner was excellent, sides were good, I only gave it 4 stars because my wife's ribs were dry, however, her sides were great. Fast service with very good prices.
Absolutely love Smoq no better BBQ place around. 👍
