In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

Excellent service, salmon, and fried green tomatoes!
We were at SmoQ's on Friday, May 12 celebrating our wedding anniversary... this was not our first visit ... food was great and service was fantastic!!! I recommend to all... a little something for many!
We waited 25 minutes to be seated even though there were empty tables. They obviously had a staffing issue. Our waitress was very conscientious but had more tables then she could handle. My girls liked their dinner and I thought the sides were amazing. My brisket however was flavorless and rubbery. I may give it another try but this experience was disappointing. I have had way better BBQ for much less.
The company of course was excellent, but that was by no effort of the staff. The food was excellent though as was the service! I would go there again and I already know what I'll be ordering.
the chicken was raw!the server took the meal off of the bill and said sorry!the manager or owner did not come by to offer another meal,or even stop by to say sorry!!!
First visit and I loved it, wish we had one in Lexington! We will be back!
What a great concept, awesome service and great food. I wanted to try it all.
We have been looking for a good BBQ place since moving from Tennessee, we found it! The pulled pork and ribs were fantaulous! Collard greens, baked beans, and potato salad were also really good!
I dont know what took me so long to try this place! Excellent food. Great service! Southern cuisine done perfect!
