In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

Last night my Boyfriend & I had a date night and came to enjoy dinner someplace we'd never been before. The atmosphere was great and our server(didn't catch her name) was bubbly and very attentive to our needs. She enamored us with the knowledge of the menu items and was very patient with us as we decided what we wanted to order. The food was delicious and we had plenty to take home for leftovers. My cousin and I were charged incorrectly quite a few times and it was quite an inconvenience to sit there while our bill was messed up 3 times
I love SmoQ, the food is awesome. The collard greens are to die for and the meats are, I don't have the words.. the ribs you could eat the bones. All I can say is Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus and Amen!
Voodoo Jambalaya was amazing! A warm and filling meal on such a cold day. Banana pudding for dessert was the perfect finish.
Very good food and service fried ribs are so good, definitely will be coming back when ever I visit Cincinnati.
We went for our first visit, and we will not be returning. It was 6 PM on a Saturday and they were not busy at all. We were seated immediately, but the service was terrible. Our food took about 30 minutes and wasn't even hot, it seemed our server just let it sit. A table by ours with a larger group and different server got their food much faster and the server appeared to take care of them. The quality of the food was not worth the time or price.

Smoq will never get my business ever again! Ever since they changed ownership the food has been horrible! This is the second time I had to return my shrimp and grits in two visits in a row. When I voiced my opinion to the manager about it he simply stated we made you a new one. Wow! The waitress service was outstanding and she was given a outstanding tip! The manager on the hand needs some customer service training! Pappadeaux here we come!
