In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

Smoq was my favorite restaurant until restaurant until the manager Trish and I exchanged words on mother's day. Because I asked her for some bags to put our food and and she had a attitude and asked me why couldn't I ask the other waitress. It was our first time here. We drove 2 hrs to eat here! The food was delicious and amazing! Service was perfect!!! Actually talked to the owner's daughter while there and let her know of the awesome experience!! We will be back!!!!
Very unprofessional. I waited for 15 minutes before someone came to speak to me. I then waited 45 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready, and the managers excuse was “the cooks make the order as the ticket comes up. My ticket came up at 7:29, I was told be there in 15 minutes. I came after 20 minutes and I didn’t get my food til 8:32. No money off. No “I’m sorry”.
