In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

I had a horrible experience here. I ordered a drink called the Memphis Blues. It did not come out until after my meal. It was disgusting. After u told the waitress she laughed and said we don't comp drinks. The manager came over and said we don't comp drinks. I asked could it be made over and she said no they don't give alcohol away for free. I told her she was doing nothing to make this better and she said she would call the owner. Just left this restaurant, and will not return again. Seems everytime we go it's a disappointment. 30 mins to receive our appetizers, which I sent back with a manager because they were cold, only for them to just b reheated and returned to us. Ordered the Salmon with no blackening, and of course it came out incorrect. We packed up Hubbys dinner and left. We have tried this place 4 times now with hopes of a better outcome, but enough is enough. Now for some Mexican food since I haven't eaten
In town for a couple days of training at CPI. We just had take out from you guys. The Salmon Burger is AWESOME!
Really the appetizers was awesome but the dinner look like they scraped the bottom of the pan. A piece of blonde hair was in my red beans and rice I switch out for Mac n cheese. But at first the waitress wouldn’t let me switch out unless I had a good reason (and I thought the customer had a right) but as soon as I showed the waitress the hair she instantly said “OH YEAH THIS A GOOD REASON THAT YOU CAN SWITCH OUT. I am from out of town I did an online order , I was staying a few miles out . Wasn’t able to get to the place ( personal reason ) I asked to have my money refunded . They could of kept the tip and the owner told me No. I think that unacceptable. I didn’t get a chance to get my food now Im upset..
Service was fast and friendly. Our food was great. The jambalaya is too spicy for my taste- that is the closest to a complaint as we have. You will not be disappointed.
It is a great place to eat, the people are friendly and very attentive.. The food is probably the best smoked food I have had in Ohio. Definitely recommend going and the prices are reasonable but its worth every bit.
I sat at the bar and talked with the owners while waiting for food.. The draft beer was good and COLD... I ordered the brisket sandwich with pickled onions and pimento cheese along with a side of mac and cheese. The sandwich had Texas toast bread. Just the right amount of food and did not leave still hungry...Great place will have to stop by more often.. I did not have room for dessert which I wish I would have the banana pudding looked awesome.
