In a world where the objective seems to be getting the food from the freezer to the table as fast as possible, smoQ was created out of a passion to do things the right way! SmoQ was designed with an emphasis on the smoker because the smoker was designed with an emphasis on slow cooking. Coupling that, is a desire to create southern food with a flair while holding true to the values that make southern cuisine special.

Best rib tips in the city...good prices good atmosphere
I was. Upset that my ribs tip's were hard and I could not eat them.. other food seem to be fine, I wish I had got the fish.. the server were great..
We keep returning to try a different entree, and so far we have not been disappointed. Love the Fried Ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. One of our favorite sides is the sweet potato casserole topped with oatmeal. Tonight we tried the Southern potato salad, it was yummy. If you like barbeque this place is definitely for you.
Today was the 1st time ever eating here. We will be back it was sooooooo good!!!!!
I ordered the uncle jerry grits and shrimp, order came out Luke warm, sent it back and I think all that was done was a microwave job. My daughter ordered the pick 2, fried chicken and andouille sausage, I have eaten andouille sausages all my like and these tasted like beef hot dogs. That was my 3rd or 4th visit and I probably won't go back.
My favorite is the Smoked Turkey Berry Salad! Worth going out of your way for.
Im very unhappy. Disrespectful staff. Food was nasty. Never going again.
My wife and I were seated and treated to some excellent corn bread as we waited for our food. I had the brisket and pulled pork combo. Both were tender and moist. The smoke flavor was very good and not overwhelming. Couple that with the macaroni and cheese that was baked with nice crunchy bread crums that was delicious. I also had the potato salad that was delicious as well. I highly recommend this friendly, reasonably priced family resturant.
My son and I loved the food. But it was a bit cold inside. Think something was wrong w heater. Would have gave it 5 stars but they were out of the dessert we wanted to try
