Ordered our food and the waitress delivered it with gum stuck to our plates. So we asks for them to remake it. Her manager says thats fine but he looking at us like we tryna get over on them. He comes back with another manager who like "we'll make it over but we not giving it to y'all for free." Mind you we never asked for it free or even at a discounted price. We ordered carry-out from the Grand Rapids, MI location tonight and it was sort of sad. Guy on the phone sounded pretty unhappy taking the order so maybe his rough day was the cause of some of this. I ordered the BLT burger (well) with fries, the Hawaiian Ribeye (med rare) and the chocolate cake. My fiance picked it up on his way home. When he got home we discovered that they didn't give us the desert, my burger was medium at best and there was a total of 16 fries. We usually enjoy the meal. My stacked baked potato was over cooked and so was my sisters. It took maybe 35 minutes to get our food. Server did not get my mom's order right. He did not separate the bills as we asked, 3 different times! Everything was slow. Drinks, food and bills. Frustrating because the restaurant was not busy. People who came in after us got their meals ahead of ours.
Usually when we go out to eat as a family at least one person doesn’t like something. We took everyone for our daughter’s 13th bday and had not one complaint! Food was great, portions were perfect , we were full but not gut busting and service was great. Will def be back!
My experience last night at Smokey Bones will leave us not choosing this restaurant for awhile. We were seated wonderfully by the host. It took about ten mins to see our server for drinks which was ok. Then it took another ten before our drinks made it back and our order was taken. Our nachos didn't come out as an app but as a meal. Food was good but service was super slow coming from the kitchen. Our waitress was awesome though, always made sure my niece had a refilled drink.
