Have been living down here for 2 years now and had never tried Smokey Bones in Lakeland and a friend at work told me they had great food (ribs) and I love ( juicy fall off the bone) ribs so last night my family and I decided to try you out because we have tried several places and nobody had the tender fall off the bone juicy ribs we remembered from up north. When your server puts the carrier with 4-5 sauces in front of you, why do the ribs leave the kitchen smothered in barbecue sauce? I didn't ask to have them that way.
I want to give a very big thank you to the staff tonight as I had a diabetic low blood sugar and the staff to work very quickly to make sure I was okay and got my sugar up. Thank You for everyones help. Sincerely, John Leslie Partington
We loved this place.. Last time we came no brisket or beer can chicken... This rime no beer can chicken and service was slow and horrible!!! Took 10 minutes to get our waiter for drinks 10 more minutes to get them another 20 to take our order. Never asked is if we like refills! Took 20 minutes to get bill and then another 15 for Him to ring it. Time to go back to Sonnys!! And not a manger to be found!!

Great place to eat. Staff were very attentive but not overly so. Food was outstanding. A little noises but a very good place to eat and converse.
All around A great experience from Andy's the bartender, Lexi our waitress, and Lance the manager who checked to be sure everything was okay with our evening.

It's very hard for me as a fellow service industry employee for 14 years and a manager of a bar in town, to ever write a poor review on any restaurant or bar but today was just unacceptable .... 2 medium rare burgers and a chicken parm sandwich.... Over 45 minutes later still no food and still not a visit from a manager.... My parents were in town visiting from out of town and this was a place they truly loved to come to... Finally we had to leave after no one tried to fix the problem ... I left cash on the bar for the drink... read more
