I am generally not one to go out of my way to speak negatively of a restaurant I have been going to for years, however I was unpleasantly surprised with my order tonight. I ordered my 3 family member's meals, along with rice and veggies for myself since I do not eat meat/fish. The side of rice came with chunks of meat inside, something I have never experienced and if so, they say "this contains meat" since generally an order of rice is just rice and/or veggies. My wife and I had our first ever dinner at this restaurant tonight, August 13 2016, and after much hype about it we both HATED IT. After we were seated, we waited a good 10 minutes before our server showed up and took our drink order. My wife had a pick three combo of pulled pork, brisket, and a chicken beast and I had a BBQ burger. Food wise we weren't impressed, we had much better pork at Old Carolina BBQ and all their food is overpriced, at Smokey Bones I mean. I always thought appetizers were supposed to come out before the main course, I guess not here. The wait was awful, and the only ranch option available is a peppercorn corn ranch which is not for everyone, so I was Shit out of luck. Won't be coming back.

We used to eat here all the time. Maybe 2-3 times a month minimum. Got to know the staff well too only to have all new workers that basically suck at there job. The food quality has been hit or miss now for a while. It's been months since our last visit. I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend going either. The men's room smells like urine ALWAYS and the floors were sticky. The problem here is upper management/ owners just do not see what's going on here and all these new workers are untrained and lazy !!

I ate at the mentor location last night with my boyfriend and even though we had separate chicken dishes, we both got violently ill after the meal. It was the only thing either of us had eaten that day and within an hour of the meal we were literally in pain. I made a courtesy call to the location just to let them know to check things out and the manager was so extremely rude I can't believe it. Absolutely the best restraunt hands down! Fast & polite servers along with perfectly smooth nights. Never a problem!
over priced food for nothing really too special. i prob wont come back. would not reccomend lol. our server was nice tho.
The food was overpriced and not very tasty I don't know why I keep going back
When the waiter took our order, he said 20 minutes for the main course. 55 minutes later my burger came out w/o the lettuce tomato and onion and was way over done. My daughters nachos came out all dried up and only 2 tiny pieces of tomato. Lunch hour was pretty slow there didn't understand the wait. Our food had to be sitting under the heat lights getting hard. Waiter never came back to ask if everything was ok til we were done eating for 20 minutes. Crappy food and crappy service. That was my 2nd visit and my last.
