Had the brisket. It was ok. Wife got the dry rub ribs, but they sent it out with sauce on it. After sending it back, she said the ribs were "ok".
It was an awesome place to eat! We are from the Midwest don't have any around us.
I'm not exactly a steak expert, but I recently had the best ribeye steak of my life at Smokey Bones. I've told everyone I know about it - took pictures even. Whoever cooks steaks on Saturdays deserves a raise. The strawberry sangria was freaking delicious (and the glass was super cute). My sides were yummy and unlike 90% of restaurants, my mashed potatoes arrived to the table hot! I've always enjoyed my food at Smokey Bones, but this weekend... someone got it very right.
What food I am able to order is good. Everytime I come they are out of something. Bar service slow while sitting at bar. Waited 8 minutes and no one acknowledged me while sitting at the bar. It wasn't even one of the busiest times I've been here.
For some good BBQ in N. Charleston, it was a little pricy, but good food and service.

Food was great and came out reasonably quick, service was outstanding, when you go to visit ask for Mannie.
I am from charleston and lived here all my life and have never been before until last night. The food was AMAZING as well as all of the staff.
