Starting eating here back in early 80's and still one of my all time favorites. Love the pork chop and the sausage.
Great place/atmosphere. Pork ribs & Turkey were excellent. Not a huge fan of the Regular & Jalapeno sausage (different from Kiolbasa), but my hubby enjoyed it. Our Brisket was a little dry (seemed like it was sitting for a while). Sides are nothing to rave about. They don't serve chicken. Staff is friendly, nice experience, nice drive from SA to Lockhart TX; overall great experience with our Family!

Have been to 3 of the 4 bbq places in Lockhart, this was probably my least favorite so far. Don't come late in the day because they run out of stuff. You order meat & sides separately like at Kreutz's but, the cash only policy is a little annoying. Had brisket since they were out of turkey. It was just okay.
I love this place but they need more cashiers and some of those young girls that they have working are just rude and miserable if you can't be nice to your customers you need not to work in a business that has a lot of customers you should always treat your customers the way you would want to be treateded if you were eating there! I don't like being mean but those young girls were just making ugly faces like they were fed up with customers !!!but the food was awesome il still back but hopefully they'll talk to there staff !
