This is the worse customer service that I have ever dealt with and the office manager needs some assistant in etiquette! Beware people! That's all I have to say!
The customer service is the worse. I had an appointment that the technician showed up an hour and a half late for and when I called to find out what was going on or if there was some policy about when they miss the appointment time, Dori proceeded to tell me that the tech was on his way (which he wasn't) and that this visit was the last on my contract (which I didn't ask her for). She is one of the rudest people ever. This was the last straw for me with her. Today will be the last time Smith's services my home.
Need to work on customer service etiquette! Actually laughed while telling me the technician is coming out tomorrow and this is since last week we have been without air with family in-town for Easter! � I found NOTHING amusing. Third issue with a brand new unit in less than 6mo!! How does a fan motor go only 6 month in?
We built a home in 2013-14. It was supposed to be a 'custom' build. That usually means, when a builder tells you in their conference room they 'CAN' do the work the WAY you want it done, then that's how it should be done. Smith H&A was just another one of their shoddy contractors who evidently was not only the lowest bid but also another one to tell me while standing here in a house being built 'they couldn't 'do it that way'. Rude on the phone. I'm sure not going to let them do work for me.
It is hard to write this review. I have been a loyal customer for almost 14 years. But the quality of service from this company is far below average. Here's my story. My 4 year old heat pump stopped cooling on June 3rd. On June 4th, I called for a repair appointment. I had bought my unit from Smith's. I was told they could not get to me for five days. This company originally installed our AC and heat units when our home was built. We have had a problem with the upstairs unit since the first day we moved in. Some 8-10 service calls over the course of 2.5 years later, we have been told to contact another company. The technicians fixed the same 'issue' multiple times. Each one blaming the others for not doing their job correctly. I have a baby sleeping in an 80 degree room today (Friday) and we were told they couldn't come out until Tuesday.
