The best days of my life were spent as a student at Smith. I met my FOREVER Mentors Professor Lucretia Knapp and Professor Len Berkman. I found my strength at Smith because I was surrounded by kind gentle Leaders every day. Smith College is a place where inclusivity and love always comes first and it's the most beautiful community on earth. Smith College - Ed.M class of '91...The best educational and social year of my life!
It has been a source of comfort, refuge, inspiration, and the most memorable of our family's history: from Gill Hall, J.M. Green Hall performances, demonstrations, performances, plays, lectures, craft and book fairs, meals, tour destinations for relatives, weddings and get-togethers at the Helen Hills Hills Chapel, and dear friendships (and more).
A caring community that truly, creatively, impressively supports and challenges students to be all that they can be. A Smith education is a rare, powerful, life-changing experience. I wouldn't have wanted my daughter to have been anywhere else as a undergrad.
My mother was a Smith graduate from the 40s, I saw first hand how much it meant to her and the impact it had on her life.... I can say with certainty that Smith gave her the education and experience she treasured her entire life.
Smith College taught me to think critically, express myself clearly, and put me on a path to success in life. I continue to rely on and support the women that I attended Smith with and those in other classes. This is a strong, diverse community of people. A Smithie always has a network to turn to -- in any city across the world.
I am so happy my daughter is at Smith. It has helped be her. Everyone is nuturing & genuinely care.

One of the best decisions I ever made. (And if you're a high schooler wrestling with a decision between Smith and another school--maybe one closer to home or where your h.s. friends are all going or with boys--choose Smith. 18 year old you may not know why exactly, but 30 and 40 and 50 year old you will know precisely)
