Love it! Looks like a beautiful day for Ivey Day. Next year this time I will be at my 50th reunion.
I think it's very unfortunate that Mme. LaGarde felt it necessary to withdraw, and that the petitioners who objected to her selection stifled the good debate that her address would have engendered. It's a black mark for the College and an incongruous comment on a strong woman in an important leadership position.

I had the best time ever there. It was a seminal point in my life, supportive and challenging and full of amazing students and great faculty.
Class of '99 ~ Ending the Century in Style! I miss Smith very much and I thank God that my journey in life landed me on campus in Aug 1995. I wouldn't change that part of my life for anything. God bless all the pioneers that a made a place like Smith possible!

A member of the Smith College class of 1992 is making headlines. This week, the highest court in Massachusetts ruled that a woman in a skirt or dress riding on public transportation does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy with respect to what is underneath her skirt or dress. The attorney for the photo-taking defendant in this case is a Smith College graduate. Would be interested to hear people's reactions and thoughts.
