I thought the place had amazing food. Service was prompt and courteous

My husband, 9 yr old son and I visited today for the first time...which definitely will not be our last. The service was superb, the boys loved their ribs and I loved the pulled pork. The sides were incredible; I had waffle fries and amazing green beans, my son had cornbread and potato salad and my husband has mac and cheese and baked beans...everything was delicious.
Best Mac n cheese ever and ribs outa this world. Recommend to everyone
The Longhorn brisket was excellent....still hungry.
Enjoyed the turkey plate. The North Carolina BBQ sauce could use an update. It is just not like N.C. sauce.
This place is a must if you're into BBQ. I look forward to coming from Milwaukee every Memorial Day weekend and enjoying some of the best BBQ around.
This place used to be awesome. We always had a hard time choosing Between slows and the wood shop in clarkston. At slows The food was great and the service slow. Now the service is fast and the food quality has decreased significantly. I have visited twice in the last six months and both times the quality of the cuts for my ribs was poor (very fatty) and the consistency of the rib meat was very mushy. I hope that slows is able to get back to their roots of serving quality food instead of being concerned about expanding.
