Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, shareable portions. A gem in southwest Detroit. Great view of the old train depot.
You gotta like dry rub to enjoy this place. My mac-cheese tasted like it had been sitting around for hours,the bake beans had to much pulled pork in it. So I did not enjoy my first time. Will not be going back. I had the chicken which still looked a little red. Sorry slows.
We took my son for his birthday. First time here. We thought, overall, everything was great. I thought it odd that they didn't offer regular, unsweetened, iced tea. It was a sweet peach or pop products. So, water it was. Other than that, the baked beans were delicious, and love that waffle fries. We'd come back for sure!!
I've been going to Slows every since they opened, but do to the crowds I haven't been in a while. I must say the food is still very tasty. The srrvice was good as well.
Awesome BBQ, ribs and brisket done to perfection, lightly seasoned, then about 7 choices of different sauces. The sides were absolutely over the top, try the pork and beans and coleslaw. Great service and I thought fairly priced.
waitress came by once and that was with the check.i was disappointed with the food this time.
Finally got to go and we had the brisket and macn cheese and was awesome

cornbread was AMAZING beef brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork... AMAZING. The place itself was neat inside...our waiter was great. however, did not like the Mac and cheese whatsoever... will probably be back again and order something different
