Flew in to Detroit from Puerto Rico and stopped here before we drove home to Toronto. Kept us full for the rest of the day! Pulled pork and baby backs, smoked baked beans, green beans, coleslaw - all delicious. Loved having a selection of sauces on the table to try. Service was quick and friendly. Next time we fly out of Detroit, we'll eat here!
I review any place for what it is not what I or anyone should expect. Slows is an excellent iconic Detroit BBQ establishment in the better area of our once great city. Other benefits is seeing all the work on rebuilding in downto2n Detroit!
Amazing BBQ! The wait staff was spot on, friendly, welcoming, etc... We tried the ribs, brisket, yardbird sandwich, along with sides of mac & cheese and waffle fries with cheese.... We could NOT have asked for a better experience!!! Everything was PERFECT for our first (of many) visits there!!!!!!!
Awesome service, tasty food, drinks were kept topped off and portions were insane! We'll be back soon for sure!
Had reservations for 14 people on Saturday and I will never go back. The place is ran like a junk yard. Piss poor service. Will get a bad review on Yelp and every site I know. I'll make sure I go to mercury bar before I step foot in that place again. Honestly they don't deserve a star at all. Work on customer service slows. You really suck and it Weston your head about how great you are.

Great cuts of meat!!! Tasted awesome. Colder than I'd normally like, but still great flavor. The Mac and cheese was good too. Good sauces. I'd eat there again.
