Known as Indiana's oldest bar, The Slippery Noodle Inn has seen its share of action. It's a hub for blues in the area, and it has been home to countless wild shows over the years. There's still live blues being played seven days a week. Being located in a great sports town, the Noodle makes itself available to sports fans as well, hosting many a celebration. Even when there's nothing going on, the place is still packed with happy diners and drinkers chowing down on the hearty menu, featuring everything from traditional bar f... read more

Finally made it to the Slippery Noodle for the first time. Really fun bar & nightclub. I like how there are different rooms with different vibes & purposes. We sat at the old original bar & watched the Dodgers-Cubs Play Off Game.we were the only ones cheering for the Dodgers but hey-We live in LA ! Our bartender was super sweet and a pro. It was fun to watch her ply her craft well.
Our waitress, Chae, was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly, she took the time to give us advice on the sites to see while in town. The gentleman checking ID’s at the door was polite and friendly. The food was very good as well.
We always have a great time when we get down to the Slippery Noodle. Good food and great entertainment.
Live music was outstanding! The Gordon Bonham Blues Band! The food was great! We had a shrimp cocktail and fried pickles...the jalapeño gave the pickles just enough kick! The beer was cold and the servers were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The history of the building was extremely interesting! It was my first time at the Noodle, but I will definitely be back!
This is and has been one of my favorite places for years!!!
Very disappointed to be forced to pay $5 cover charge to eat dinner. Took over 45 minutes to get our food with no live music the entire time we were there. Band was just setting up as we were leaving. Would have been better off to walk across the street to Arby's.
I've been going to the Noodle for over thirty years. My wife and I had our first date at the Noodle. I've never had a bad time, and never seen a bad band. I've never been treated poorly by staff. I've eaten snacks and nachos; fried pickles and such, but I've never eaten dinner there, so I can only review the basic bar food: it's always hot and fresh. But I'm only there for the music and dancing!
It's always great to see Governor Davis and his Ambassadors play. They are very talented and it's always a great time. Thank you for providing a great venue.
Awesome Food, drinks, entertainment and atmosphere!!!
