I normally would never take the time out to rate a business let alone a doctor's office but this is THE WORST dermatology place I have EVER been to. Went here a few weeks ago & will NEVER come back. Ive been once before, had a bad experience so I gave it another try & regret it. The girls in the office were rude but worst of all, after waiting for almost AN HOUR after my appointment time, the doctor, Dr. Pena came in for what seemed to be a few minutes & left. We now offer patient surveys on wait times that are sent out the day of your appointment. This way we can discern why some days have longer waits than most. Dr. Pena tries to be quick and thorough with each patient to minimize wait times. We apologize for anyone up front being pushy about purchasing products and can ensure you that they are only instructed to ask if you are interested or not. It is totally up to you what you want to do. You can even ask what you need to look for should you purchase products elsewhere.
Wonderful office, beautiful staff, comfortable seating, great products that were recommended are in office for our convience that helps with any issue!!
Dr Pena, Walt Sims and Michelle Dobson, I have see them all and they are highly skilled providers and are dedicated to helping you look your best and aging gracefully :)
Dr. Pena is perhaps the absolute WORST dematologist that I have ever visited. I have had to have seven basil cell cancers removed, four by Mohs surgery removed by other dermatologists. The three that Dr. Pena removed by Mohs, have left horrible scars on my back which will never go away. After leaving her practice, the next dermatologist that I saw, asked me who had done that to me!!! I have been going to Dr. Pena for several years. I have seen her for skin cancer, acne, wart removal and for cosmetic procedures. She and her staff are fabulous! My daughter and Mother have also seen her and they were very happy.
Dr. Pena's new line of face moisturizers + suncreen that she developed are a must! I started using likewise for oily skin about 5 weeks ago and I love it! It moisturizes and protects my skin without leaving it oily. Likewise actually controls the shine and leaves my skin with a matte finish which I love! Dr. Pena is an excellent MOHS surgeon. I was worried about the scarring on my chin after the surgery, but Dr. Pena and her PA, Jo Ellyn, took great care of me and my chin is looking great. They were both very knowledgeable, helpful, prompt and thorough.
I had a great experience during my visit with Dr Pena. The office staff were very friendly as were the medical staff. Wait time was well worth the knowledge that she shared with me. I will definitely go back. I had a strange looking "mole" on my chest that I was worried about and she had her PA, Walt Sims, biopsy it. All turned out well. I will definitely re-visit this office when I need dermatology care.
