i was with this medical centre for almost my entire life up until last year. The past few years has been terrible with them, it was impossible to get an appointment, and the only way to book one was through an app, which isn’t accessible for my elderly grandmother who can’t use a phone. My mother has to book appointments for her but by the time she’s filled in the form there’s no more appointments left. absolutely dreadful and i’m glad to have switched gps
I’ve only been with SKEWEN MEDICAL CENTRE for 6 months and in that 6 months when I have been seeing the doctors they make time for me and try and help me rather than rush me out of the room, I’ve been diagnosed with 2 conditions thanks to these doctors. This practice has stability meaning you get to know the doctors as other surgeries have doctors come and go so on, this surgery doesn’t !!! I can’t say that I’ve been to the doctors and had a good experience often. Every time I log in after 8am but before 8:30 the online system is closed. The receptionists are absolutely shocking to the point where they have been rude, I’ve been rude back and I have received a letter of warning in the post. The receptionists have no empathy what so ever. When you actually get to see a doctor they have been good for the majority and the nurse with blonde hair is brilliant. I like the staff they are all helpful and friendly
Shame I can't rate it a zero it says it's online services open at 08:00 I've been ringing for 50 minutes and tried about 30 times just comes up as user busy I started ringing at 08:00 dead on so I emailed them and they told me they full for the day how can that make any sense absolutely useless place stay far away from this place
