I was originally signed up for a 1 month trial, but when I asked to cancel at the 1 month mark, the lead sales rep told me that my account manager had departed and referred me to the billing department. Billing told me that I had signed up for a 1 yr subscription, but wouldn’t provide any evidence. The lead sales rep also never returned my request for assistance in sorting this out, therefore I’m still paying $30/month for something I don’t need.

Last year, I got into a sticky situation when my server was hacked by a script that tried to send spam email through non-existent accounts. Luckily, none of the emails left my outbox, but unfortunately, they were stuck in the cue, spending the memory on my server and causing it to shut down. In a panic, I looked for solutions and since I use BlueHost, SiteLock was tied into the service.
