Had to chase and chase and chase for a survey we paid for. Surveyor came out in good time and seemed reasonable, but since then, calls, voicemails and emails went unanswered. Delayed our homebuying by 2 months. Discovered later that the drainage survey (which we finally received after much effort) didn't provide an accurate assessment and we will now be spending thousands on works in the immediate future. Phil (the original owner) undertook a CCTV survey of our drains back in sept2023. I spoke to him several times prior to the job about the surveys required as it was required due to disputes with neighbours who had connected to our private foul pipe some time ago without our consent. We had only discovered this due to hedges they overgrew damaging our drains about a year earlier. I’ve paid for pre an post sewer survey upfront which I needed for planning permission to build over sewer, received my report for pre survey and all was good till the point I’ve realised (actually Severn Trent Water made me realise) that block plan was missing / was not included in my report. Since then I’m keep contacting Simply drainage Solutions by calls/ emails and text messages and since several months now I’m asking them to either book my post survey (which I’ve paid for ) or to just send me the block plan that is miss... read more
