Love the atmosphere, food and friendly owners. This is the best kept secret in Bowie. Love going to a place that is unique and not cookie cutter. The homemade deserts and ice cream are the best treat!
I heard so many great things about Simple Pleasures that I had to find out for myself. As soon as I walked in the environment was so warm and inviting. Ms. Terri and Mr. Rodney make you feel like family. I headed straight for the homemade ice cream and fell in love with the Rum Raisin! I loved it so much that I came back and bought a few friends.

The Chicken and waffles were delicious! Taste buds were over the top for the seafood macaroni and cheese!
I love the welcoming environment and friendliness of the staff. The food is locally sourced so i feel like i am contributing to local farmers. I can shop while i am waiting for my food. A great place for families, book club, or a girls luncheon
This place is the most splendidly perfect, relaxing café that allows you to just create connections while viewing/possibly purchasing beautiful antiques. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to have a "simple pleasure."
