I went to the ER after not having had a bowel movement in several weeks and was in excruciating pain. After doctor examined me and said that pain location was consistent with what I was saying, he ordered a ct scan instead of starting with an xray, which would have been much less expensive. I was never offered the option of an xray. He prescribed 5 different prescriptions, none of which worked. I ended up going to my family doctor who prescribed 1 medication that worked right away for pain and it was not a highly addictive o... read more
