RecommendedKudos to ER staff yesterday morning at Silver Cross Hospital. Took my mom in with a head laceration, they treated her, got a quick CT scan, tested her for Covid, put in a quick staple, and sent us on our way in less than 2 hours! The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Thank you Silver Cross ER team!

I've been coming here on and off since I was a child. I've had experiences where my test results were swapped, nurses have been repeatedly, extremely rude, my complicated health history was written off and recently just to get my patient portal set up was a complete nightmare. Just a couple of weeks ago I went to the ER and samples of my blood were on the counter- the nurse couldn't figure out if the blood was mine or someone else's and asked me if I knew.
