Kudos to ER staff yesterday morning at Silver Cross Hospital. Took my mom in with a head laceration, they treated her, got a quick CT scan, tested her for Covid, put in a quick staple, and sent us on our way in less than 2 hours! The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Thank you Silver Cross ER team!

I've been coming here on and off since I was a child. I've had experiences where my test results were swapped, nurses have been repeatedly, extremely rude, my complicated health history was written off and recently just to get my patient portal set up was a complete nightmare. Just a couple of weeks ago I went to the ER and samples of my blood were on the counter- the nurse couldn't figure out if the blood was mine or someone else's and asked me if I knew. We just had our second baby- first one born at Silver Cross, and have nothing but good things to say about your L&D and Mother & Baby units! Chrissy and Sara were amazing nurses and supports in L&D, and Ashley and Sarah were so kind and helpful in Mother and Baby. Even with a Code Black and power outrage, we felt safe and taken care of by all. We appreciate the fantastic experience!

Had some outpatient testing today. Charlie was so friendly and funny. She did my Echo. Sam did my EKG and holter monitor. I felt like I was talking to a friend with Sam. I was very nervous coming in. They both were so friendly and personable it made me feel so relaxed. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. Thanks ladies!

Had to go to ER and I was impressed how they were able to get to everybody right away to assess. Everyone was patient, courteous and extremely helpful. The ER Dept. is a very hardworking and qualified group.
