I have been going to Silver Cross with a cardiac issue. I had minor problems with lab testing and wanted to share my experience with the MGR Michelle Fennell and have to say she made a bad day fill with sunshine. I had some mix up in my orders and she made it happen. Very professional and understanding !

The labor and delivery unit was outstanding when I delivered my daughter, last Tuesday. I am still in awe of the nurses and their love and care for me, my husband, and my daughter.

My son was in the Silver Cross ER in Homer Glen over the weekend. He was transferred to the main Silver and admitted to Pediatrics. I just want to say, he had the best nurses (at both locations!) They were all super sweet and the most caring nurses we've ever encountered :) Just wanted to thank them for taking such good care of my baby. On the other hand.... I recently gave birth to my third child at Silver Cross and had a WONDERFUL experience! The entire staff from my Dr (Nicole Gress) to the nursing staff, and everyone in between was outstanding!
wired hospital don't have IV thing.
This place is a den of thieves. My son woke up with severe abdominal cramps. We brought him to Silver Cross. Their preliminary diagnosis was appendicitis. They performed a test to determine if the appendix needed to come out -- it came back negative. Forty-five minutes total time in the hospital. My insurance was charged over $5,000 and our deductible portion of it was approx. $1,400. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
