RecommendedHad to face one of my biggest fears and get surgery. I was in an absolute panic! Without the wonderful nurses, and dr gamagami I wouldn’t of been able to do it! They relaxed me and reassured me! I no longer have a fear of surgery! Thank you so much for giving me great care!
I’m experiencing Silver Cross right now!!! I have been waiting with my son for almost 6 hours!!!! Of course the person at the desk said the lady stroking out and the molested kid was more important than us! Great patient services! I literally could have driven to any other hospital in Illinois by now. Thanks Silver Cross! You are amazing! Now into hour 9!!!!! THIS HOSPITAL SUCKS. They have ONE pediatrician on staff? WTF? DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS HOSPITAL IF MEDICAL TREATMENT IS NEEDED.

Best Hospital and would not go to another!! Had two surgeries here and they are the best and care so much for their patients. They also saved my moms life many times. Thank you!
We love our doctor, but the billing department makes it impossible to love Silver Cross. The online bill payment and account system does not work and when I called the number given on the bill pay systems to resolve problems, they say that they don't have anything to do with the online bill pay and cannot help. They are unorganized and threaten to send bills that have already been paid to collection and cannot answer questions when you call.
Let me first say to all of you who are complaining about waiting in the ER waiting room and people going in front of you that you obviously do not understand the process. I have worked in Emergency Medicine for 25 years, suburban and city. My family has been in and out of emergency departments and I must say that Silver Cross Hospital does it right! I never thought I would say this about a hospital but I felt at home...my mattress was very uncomfortable & the nurse hunted down a thicker one for me! That’s a step beyond when your feeling at your worst!
Everything I highly recommend. The doctors nurses and staff are just wonderful. I ve been hospitalized there twice in the last 8 months and have had my testing done there😊
Unless you want to die in the waiting room I suggest going somewhere else. 2 hrs in the waiting room still not seen.
