Renovated in June 2007, Silk City is actually two places joined together. The diner was originally built by the Silk City company in the 1930s. If you are familiar with the old Silk City menu, expect changes. Great ambiance! Friendly fun and hardworking great staff! The food is excellent too! Especially the creative and always exciting brunch specials! The Painkiller and mimosas are not to be missed either! Outdoor seating in a very interesting space! Love this place!
Visiting from DC, came to eat here for the first time today. Nate was our server. Had the Commonwealth Cider that he recommended & the shrimp and grits. Good. GAWD!!!!! SO FREAKING AMAZING!!!! SO IMPRESSED!!! Well seasoned, cooked to perfection. great service. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the area!!
