The Staff and Drs. and facilities here are top-notch. We had a dog with a severed Achilles' tendon, and despite other vets calling for amputation, this hospital was able to reattach the tendon and save her leg! We drove 2-1/2 hours from the Bay Area to come here, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Sierra Veterinary Specialists!!!
Sierra Veterinary Specialist is by far the best 24 hour care in this area that you can give your pet. Let's face it nobody wants to or is prepared for the financial obligations of a sick or injured pet after hours. When my two dogs and my daughters puppy got into some old rat poison that I had stored in a box in the garage, they took my dogs overnight and gave the the proper treatment and I was able to pick them up the next day. Everyone at SVS was great! Was easily accessible, short wait time, and the staff was wonderful. We went for an orthopedic consult for my service dog's elbow and we couldn't have had a better experience!

Dr. Pelsue and his staff were so kind and understanding. They treated my concerns for my puppy boy with respect and didn't make me feel pressured to make any choices. They start small to diagnose and treat and give you the choice to go more aggressively. Dr. Pelsue even called later that night to check on my dog and give further advice.
