When my 7lb toy poodle ate a batch of chocolate chip brownies, it looked like there was no hope for her. Her heart rate was well over 200bpm and she was at risk for a fatal seizure at any moment. We have had many visits, some procedures, etc. at Sierra Veterinary Specialists. I can't say enough about the extremely friendly and competent staff from the front desk to the E/R Docs and Surgeons - too many to name. We have had some complex situations involving my dog's health and they worked through them successfully and with extreme kindness. These are Doctors and yes they must charge for their services. Dr. Pelsue and staff took excellent care of my doggie. No one wants to leave their fur baby overnight, but after surgery it was necessary and I know they took great care of her. Thank you SVS!
They made an absolutely painful day very manageable. They were so kind and caring. My cat was in so much pain and they had someone from their triage team meet me and my cat at the front desk and they took over. Administerd a pain medication promptly to my little boy and made his last few hours of life comfortable. Dr Miller was so sweet and patient with me as I was a hot crying mess.
